The mission of 4 Paws for Ability at XU is to train and socialize service dogs, plan and engage in opportunities to raise funds, educate the public about service animals and the services they provide, assist with animal rescue facilities when possible and allow students to gain lifelong friends who share the same passion for helping others. Through events, we hope to spark your animal-loving side and encourage the student community to foster a service dog.

Bird Watching Club is for any Xavier student wanting to observe, explore, and find the birds surrounding the greater Cincinnati area. Bird Watching Club's purpose is to educate students about the birds of the greater Cincinnati area. Participants will become accustom to the sights and sounds of the birds, all while experiencing various terrestrial biomes around Xavier. Towards the end of the academic year, participants will be encouraged to attend the annual birdathon, an event in which competitors seek to identify as many birds as possible in the Cincinnati area in a period of 24 hours.

Care Management Services in the Dean of Students Office aims to provide case management support to students who are experiencing challenges, distress, or crises that impact their social, personal, or academic ability. Care Management Services collaborates with colleagues across campus and with organizations in the community to provide comprehensive outreach and resources for students.

Specifically students:
- Who are experiencing significant difficulties or crises that impact their ability to be successful on and off-campus. This could include but is not limited to students experiencing mental health issues, physical health issues, challenges with transitions, financial issues.
- Returning from a medical leave of absence or a stay in a hospital for physical or mental health reasons.
- Referred to Care Management by peers, faculty, staff, or individuals from off-campus. Typically referrals are because someone is worried about a particular student’s health, safety, or wellness.

The Club Sports Council is designed to serve the interests of Xavier University by providing opportunities for Xavier University students, faculty, and staff to continue participating or learn a new sport/recreational activity. While Club Sports fall on a competitive level between intramurals and intercollegiate athletics, the member's involvement in the Clubs is structured to be a learning experience for the members through their involvement in the organization and administration of club activities as well as the development of sports skills.

As the members are active participants in the leadership and decision making process of the clubs, clubs may vary in focus and programming. The teams hold practices two to four times per week and all of clubs are required to have a coach. The clubs do not have large budgets; therefore the clubs must fundraise and charge membership dues to subsidize their existence. The teams compete against other club teams from universities throughout the Midwest such as Indiana University, University of Kentucky, Ohio State University, Miami of Ohio, and the University of Cincinnati. Many of the club sports play in leagues and can compete for a national championship. Participation in the Club Sports Council is an excellent way to develop leadership skills, meet new friends with similar interests, stay in shape and enhance athletic skills.

OIP-u is Ohio's collegiate network of innocence advocates. Our mission is to gain awareness for wrongful convictions all over the country but specifically in Ohio. The Ohio Innocence Project is a non-profit organization and our goal is to support cause by educating the campus community, raising awareness, and working together with OIP in its efforts.
The issue of wrongful convictions is a multidisciplinary one, including criminal justice, psychology, sociology, political science, biology, chemistry, economics, statistics, and many others. We invite students of various academic interests to bring their unique interests and perspectives to the chapter and the discussion on wrongful conviction and ways to address the issue.
The chapter will work to prevent wrongful conviction by promoting awareness of its existence on college campuses and to generate student and community support for the Ohio Innocence Project, and its efforts to remedy for wrongful convictions.
The chapter will host events designed to educate college students and the general public about the following topics: wrongful conviction; the causes of wrongful conviction; the plight of the wrongfully convicted; the efforts of the Ohio Innocence Project to prevent and remedy wrongful convictions in Ohio; and information related to wrongful conviction.

Xavier Cheerleading & Mascots are an important part of Xavier Athletics. Xavier Cheerleading & Mascots have become a vocal presence at all Xavier men's and women's basketball games as well as in the community. Annually, the Xavier University Dance Team strives to compete at the National Dance Alliance (NDA) National Competition in Daytona Beach, Florida. Each year, the team spends approximately three days competing for the top ten rankings in Division 1.

The Dance Team is committed to serving the community in a variety of ways which include the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, Community Action Day, and other events throughout the year.

As a club sport, the Xavier University Dance Team works hard each year to raise funds and secure sponsors for uniforms, travel to various performances, and expenses associated with competing at NDA Nationals in Florida. The Team dedicates a great deal of time fundraising at Cincinnati Reds games and Cintas Center Events, in addition to sponsorship campaigns.
