Hope Ignited: Stoling Ceremony is rooted in the traditions of the Akan people of Ghana, dating back to the 17th century, where rites of passage honor growth, wisdom, and service to the community. At Xavier, this tradition reflects our commitment to Magis (seeking the greater good), Cura Personalis (care for the whole person), and journey with the youth towards a hope filled future. All students registered to graduate in Summer 2024, Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Fall 2025 are invited to join us at the Hope Ignited Stoling Ceremony.

As we honor this milestone, we recognize that each graduate plays a vital role in the creation of a hope-filled future—one where their unique voices and leadership will inspire change and growth in the world around them.
